Betsy took portraits of our family last spring. We met in a spectacular field of wild flowers smack in the middle of Greenbrae,CA. Betsy managed to capture a slice of time for us that would have quickly been forgotten had she not caught it with her beautiful and
artistic eye. Neither my husband nor I have had professional photos taken besides on our wedding day. We were concerned that we would feel uptight and camera shy when Betsy aimed the camera at us. Her carefree, funny, easy-going style, however, made being in front of the camera feel natural and fun. Of course, we did catch some wonderful posed shots but our favorites were the candid photos she captured when we were just being silly and playful with our children. Betsy snapped countless photos of us. She meticulously went through and weeded out the best. She presented us with an incredible hand-selected series of portraits. The hardest part has been deciding which photos to
enlarge. We already have wall space waiting for Betsy's masterpieces.

We feel so lucky to have had Betsy as our wedding photographer. She went way above and beyond what we expected. One example of this was that she went to check out the site a few times during the week before the wedding. She called SF Parks and Rec when she noticed some graffiti tagged at Shakespeare Garden and it was removed by the day of. Her photos are gorgeous! We didn't want a lot of posed shots and her eye for candids is amazing. The photos show so much movement and candor. I refer her to anyone who is in the market. To this day, I have not seen better photos than hers. Betsy also has a way with color. In some of the photos she edits, she'll play with color and in our case, a bright red car, putting only the car and the flowers I'm holding in color and everything else in black and white. She does this with a few of your photos and it's an incredible effect. The book she compiled of her favorites IS our wedding album. We never created one of our own, because we never felt we needed to and loved the one she put together. The composition of photos and her professional eye is worth it. Also, aside from the photos, Betsy is just the best people person. Her experience teaching high school students and her naturally bubbly personality made her presence such an asset when bringing together various family and friends from all walks of life. I loved having her around when the my friends and I were getting ready and in the car ride over to the ceremony with my dad. Betsy helped bring lots of joy and comfort to the day. We loved her photos and having her there!

Betsy took photographs of my 17 yr. old son. She was able to capture his spirit and personality perfectly. We were so pleased with the photos, as they reflect a happy and relaxed young man. Betsy Snow did an AMAZING job taking photos of our twin girls and family! She took her time and created images that are sincere and heartfelt. She has a eye for the unique and a creative mind. Not only did she take photos of the girls themselves, but of their room, and belongings which will capture their first few weeks with us. These photos are timeless and I am sure my girls and family will enjoy and cherish them as they grow older.

Betsy was very professional and accommodating, making sure we had time to feed the babies and tend to them when they got fussy.

At our photo shoot with Betsy, we were put at ease in our own backyard for a relaxing and fun session. We were subtly guided by Betsy's humor and smile and we felt like we were just playing in the grass. Now, our walls are covered with the most loving moments with my wife and our newborn son. Anyone who has walked into our home has commented on how great our photos are.
We were also lucky to have had Betsy put together an album from our wedding which captured candid and fun moments we never would have seen if it were not for her creative eye. To put it simply, Betsy is an extraodinary photographer but she is also a world-class artist. Her eye for photography will make you and your family part of Betsy's art and you will be astonished at the power and quality of the results. Betsy's pictures are unique and better than any I have seen.

Betsy has an amazing eye for catching precious and priceless moments. Her ability to know what her clients will love in a picture shows her true passion for photography. The pictures she took for my husband and I on our wedding day are irreplaceable. She captured many of our favorite pictures from the big day and also gave us the best gift we received: a matted book of pictures she took of us with a bunch of priceless moments we wouldn't have gotten from anyone else present. The funny part is, Betsy was a guest at our wedding. It was a tough decision to have her as a guest rather than our photographer, but she is do dedicated to photography that she couldn't help but take amazing pictures. After looking at the some 200 pictures she took of our big day, there were very few pictures we used from our own photographer. You would be lucky to have Betsy behind the lens for you and your loved ones. I cannot wait for our next session with her!
